Quite recently, I received an assignment to do a class sharing "my specialty" with my Seichim class and I was totally at a loss as to what to do. I didn't have a specialty, I thought. But after talking with Lyn Nickel on the phone some ideas and images started to surface. I decided to take all the egyptian symbols I had been taught in Seichim, and put them together into a blessing and meditation. I did a lot of research and meditation for that class and my labors were rewarded. As part of my research I was very attracted to the mysteries of Isis and even more so to Sekmet. As a result I joined the Fellowship of Isis and made my dedication to Sekmet who showed me in some very tangible ways that she had called me to her service. At the appropriate time I will enter training for Priestesshood. When I put the symbols together, an order emerged, then the meaning of each symbol and it's use became clear. I asked Sekmet and Isis to help me to bring through the rest of the information and did I ever get a surprise. I kept having the feeling that what was evolving was an ancient initiation ritual and another system. My intuition was accurate. During the class all the information came through. I attuned all six members of my class and they sensed the energy as different from anything they had ever felt before. It was peaceful, balanced, smooth, harmonious, extremely powerful and complete or whole. Of course, I was initiated at the same time as they were and was amazed at how it opened up my chakras and how the energy of each symbol began to work immediately. Upon asking Sekmet for a name for this system I was told to call it IsKmet, in honor of the two Goddesses. I am currently writing the manual for this system and will begin giving classes and initiations into this mystery when they are completed. I will publish information about the system and the classes and initiations in these pages as soon as they are finished. I have been directed not to reveal too much about this system at this time as it is still evolving and involves some deep mysteries which have not hitherto been revealed. So only those who take the classes will get full information. I tell this whole long story because I believe that anyone who visits this site and is attracted to these systems can benefit greatly from them as I have.

There has been so much published recently about Reiki that I am only going to share some personal insights from experience about Reiki and how to use it. For classes to which I must travel I ask that the class members chip in to defray my travel costs and expenses and provide me with meals and lodging during my stay. This is traditional both in Native American shamanic tradition and in Eastern Master Traditions. Doing this allows me to be able to keep the cost of these classes affordable for you, the student. For a class in your location I ask that you have no less than 10 students and no more than 13. This allows me to give each student their fair share of my attention and love. For online classes e-mail me and I will send you the class requirements and fee schedule. I do provide for some scholarships for people who are very called to Reiki but I insist that they do some energy exchange in the form of goods or services prior to the class. I also can arrange payment plans when necessary. But the tradition of the energy exchange is sacred to me. There is great controversy over this issue so I would like to make my philosophy on this clear. I do not believe in getting something for nothing. There is always some sort of an exchange. I also do not believe that overcharging for services or taking financial advantage of people is correct ethical or moral behaviour. I am charging for my time, effort and knowledge, not for Reiki, because Reiki is a gift given by the Creator.
