Second Degree Reiki deals with the Mental/Emotional issues of ones life and I had a lot of unresolved issues and emotional blockages to be cleared away. It also enables one to do Distance Healing, which I had already been doing for years. During my Second Degree attunement I had a spontaneous past life regression and saw my attuning master and I in another life in Japan, and I had been her student then too. I was filled with love and gratitude for this woman with whom I had shared so much in both that life and this one. So I want to thank Mona Reily, my Second Degree Master. It was a year before I was ready for what I thought then was my last attunement. Little did I know it would be only one in a series of attunements, each one in a different style of energy work, each one more powerful than the last, each one the catalyst of new growth and changes in my life.
For the Master/Teacher attunement my master was the prize pupil of Mona Reily, his name was Bradford Hornbuckle. After an exhaustive 12 hour class,the attunement only took 15 minutes and I went, "is that all there is?" I continued learning, studying and growing, but felt so blocked. I didn't feel like I had been taught enough to really teach, which was my original dedication to Reiki. I kept digging, reading every Reiki book I could find, and then I moved to the Blackfoot Reservation in Heart Butte, Montana. Thirty miles south of Browning, this was about the most remote place I had ever been. It is a harsh environment and I felt very isolated. In my loneliness and pain I got on the internet and began looking up everything I could find on Reiki. I had heard of other systems like Karuna and Seichim and Johrei and had wanted to learn about them and now, all the doors of heaven seemed to open up to me. I joined a newsgroup, and a list and started talking with masters all over the world. They were very generous about sharing their knowledge and sending me to sites where I could learn more. I signed up for an online Seichim Master Teacher class with Lyn Nickel, one of Patrick Zeiglers students. And all of a sudden it was as if I had turned a key that unlocked the door to my whole life and all that I had ever desired. Lyn is a wonderful teacher and soon the whole class became a closeknit family. I took to Seichim like I was made for it. It came so easily I could hardly believe it. Members in my class began long distance attuning one another, in just a few weeks I had been attuned to the First Level of Karuna and a Johrei-like style developed by Vinny Amador called the Energy of Light and Purity. I received all three attunements in this style in a matter of weeks. I also received the first two levels of Seichim.
Then, a friend of mine in Germany, Gabriel Shivers sent me a chat request and offered me a re-attunement to Master Teacher level of Reiki and I gladly accepted. The next night around 2 in the morning MST he surprised me by messaging me."Now!" and I received my attunement a few minutes later. This time it was very different. very powerful and I knew that I finally had accepted the attunement. Gabriel sent me a certification in the mail and a lineage along with it.
